PANYNJ Regional Goods Movement Plan

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s (PANYNJ) transportation facilities include America's busiest airport system, marine terminals and ports, rail transit systems, and tunnels and bridges. Their team’s mission is straightforward but not necessarily simple: keep the region—specifically New York and New Jersey—moving. To follow through on this mission, the authority has to plan long-term, so PANYNJ turned to VHB for our innovative thought leadership. By coordinating a series of workshops and focus groups, we’ve helped PANYNJ develop a comprehensive long-term regional goods movement plan for freight strategies and future projects.
