To continue to provide the highest levels of patient care, education, and research, one of the top-ranked hospitals in the country is investing $1.5 billion to design the new Penn Medicine Patient Pavilion. With a focus on enhanced patient satisfaction, Penn looked to VHB to provide world-class transportation planning services to optimize the arrival, wayfinding, and departure sequencing of patients and their families. VHB helped the UPenn team formulate key access and circulation elements and also assisted in assessing the surrounding transportation infrastructure, making important recommendations regarding off-site investments that will need to be made to support this strategic project and the district.
