Contaminated Groundwater
VHB has extensive experience investigating, evaluating, and remediating contaminated groundwater. Our knowledge of light nonaqueous phase liquids (LNAPLs), dense nonaqueous phase liquids (DNAPLs), and emerging contaminants such as PFAS and 1,4-dioxane, has allowed us to testify and support litigation at numerous high-profile contaminated groundwater sites.

Soil Vapor/Indoor Air Investigations
VHB has designed, performed, and interpreted data from soil/sub-slab vapor and indoor air investigations in nearly a dozen regulatory jurisdictions. We utilize site-specific and structure-specific vapor sampling methods to efficiently quantify and interpret potential vapor intrusion risks to human receptors at impacted sites.
